How to open a PDF document?

Question: Recently, I got a new hard drive and it asked me that with what program do I wanted to open the PDF document, and I obviously chose Microsoft Word. When I click on a PDF file, Microsoft Word opens the PDF document, but it doesn't show me the PDF file normally. It seems that it was apparently the wrong choice to choose Microsoft Word to open PDF file, and I don't know how to change it, so for now I can't view any PDF document I've downloaded from the internet. Could you please help me, and I need step by step instructions.

Solution: To view PDF documents, you need a PDF reader, such as Foxit PDF Reader, XChange PDF Viewer, Adobe Reader, etc.

2 steps to change the default program opening the PDF file to a PDF reader:
(1) If you don't have a PDF reader installed yet, just download one and install it on your PC, such
as, Foxit PDF reader, XChange PDF Viewer, Adobe Reader, etc.

(2) Right click the PDF file -> Select "Properties" -> In the popup dialog, select the PDF reader you have installed -> Make "Always use the program to open this type of file" checked.

That's all.
