Why can't I read a PDF document I downloaded from internet?

Question: When I open a PDF downloaded from the internet, all the words are unreadable. How can I fix the problem?

Solution: I. Install a PDF Reader on your PC
In order to read PDF, you need to install a PDF reader first, such as, Foxit PDF Reader, Adobe Reader, XChange PDF Viewer, etc. All of them is free.

II. Set the default program for opening a PDF file
Right click the PDF file -> select "properties" -> in the popup dialog, select the PDF reader you have installed (such as, Foxit PDF Reader, Adobe Reader)-> make "Always use the program to open this type of file" checked.
